How the library works
About Pictionary Word Generator
This independent website organizes drawable prompts into a structured library so families, teachers, and party hosts can start a game without preparing cards.
How words are organized and checked
Each prompt has a language, difficulty, audience, category, and style label. Seasonal prompts can also carry holiday tags. These labels power the filters instead of relying on separate unconnected lists.
Every library update runs checks for duplicate prompts, missing fields, and invalid labels before the site can build. Kids mode only uses prompts explicitly marked for kids. The current library contains 671 kid-approved prompts.
Automatic checks catch structural mistakes, but they cannot replace judgement about culture, age suitability, or regional language. If a prompt looks wrong, report the exact word and page through the contact page.
Independence and updates
The site is an independent drawing-game tool and is not affiliated with Mattel. Library totals above are calculated from the same records used by the live generator, so they update with the site rather than being hand-written marketing numbers.
